Q&A

How long after my session should I expect to recieve my final gallery?

Depending on the season, you can expect a turnaround time of anywhere from 2-4 weeks for sessions and approximately 8 weeks for weddings. I am extremely detail-oriented and hand edit each image. If you're looking for a quick turnaround, I am likely not the photographer for you!

How would you describe your editing style?

I like to walk the line between light and airy and moody. Rich, warm colors, soft greens, and photos as bright as the setting allows while preserving all the details are my expertise.

We already had an engagement session, would you discount your wedding package without one?

Engagement sessions are so important to me, which is why I include them complimentary in your wedding package. It's the perfect chance for me to get to know you and your fiancé so I don't show up a stranger on your big day!

Do you send sneak peeks?

I do not offer sneak peeks for portrait sessions at this time. For this reason, I recommend scheduling at least 3 weeks prior to the date you'd like to receive your photos. Wedding clients can expect to recieve a sneak peek within 3-5 days following their wedding day.

Do you provide props?

For in-home newborn sessions, I do bring wraps, bowls, and baskets and minimal props. For family sessions I will usually bring a few blanket options to sit on. I try to keep it simple and keep the focus on you!

Do you travel?

Yes! Locations outside of a 25 mile radius of my home will incur a travel fee of $0.60 per mile.

What should I wear to my session?

Short answer, neutrals and earth tones photograph beautifully. Avoid logos and noisy patterns. Think complimentary when choosing colors and fabrics, not matching. Your comfortability in what you're wearing can make or break your session, so I encourage you to shop your own closet! All clients receive a link to my style guide full of helpful tips!

How many images will I recieve?

You can expect to recieve approximately 75-100 images per hour of shooting time in a mix of color and black and white. I am a self-proclaimed overshooter, if the photo is good you can expect to recieve it in your gallery! No limits here.

My child has a goose egg on their head, can you edit it out?

Of course! If I can see it and you explicitly ask, that is no problem at all. I won't tamper with your skin or body without your permission. Simple edits such as smoothing acne, softening wrinkles, and editing out small imperfections are no problem at all and are included in the price. If you would like more intense photoshopping, please reach out so we can make sure it's possible!
